My apologies. The discrepancy is accidental. In my head, the teenage years start at 16. Looking at a couple sites I saw the definition of preteen being from 9-12 or 9-14. The girl is still 15 and wasn't intended to be younger. I am unaware how to edit an already submitted story but I assure you the girl is 15.
