It's bad for old people and immunosuppressed people, for everyone else it's a mild cold. It's ridiculously easy to spread and masks do not help. It can possibly stay alive on surfaces for up to 9 days and may be spreadable before you even show symptoms. Don't touch your face, stay away from the elderly and immunosuppressed people, handwashing is always the best way to stop the spread of any disease. If you have to be in a crowd, when you get home the first thing you do is strip, then clean, and then put on clean clothes. When washing your clothes, don't let them touch you or the clothes you are wearing and then wash your hands immediately afterwards.
