It seems to be dead.

As a long time member I truly hope this is not the case! Let me throw out a question... If the forum has not yet died, but appears to be, how would you revive it?

I would try to revive it by doing what I'm doing--posting.

True, but what I was asking is how would you persuade lurkers (people who read but do not post) to take that first step of posting?

I wouldn't say it's dead, just really mellow.

I was going through my posts and found that besides my stories, I don't really post anymore. Gotta do something about that.

Periodic database crashes and loss of content doesn't help. We've lost a lot of good stories on here.
Yes unfortunately we did....

Yes we did lose an awful lot of good stories but it was not always through technical crashes, some was unfortunately lost as direct actions of hackers; which is why we try to be more vigilant and stricter about things like outside links.

I hope not... I don’t come on much because of being busy but I love this site

I don't get out as often as I used to; part of the reason is being busy and part is because there isn't much activity. It is good to see there is still some activity. I used to follow another similar site's chat session but it died entirely and was finally removed from the site.
I do hope this one continues.
Oh. And great to see you active, Bridget!

It is always good to see the regulars return and become active again. also we must remember that new members will only become regulars if we treat them with respect and encourage them to participate!

I know I was glad to come back and find it still here, along with some familar names.
I have spent a lot of time reading back over my stories, and thought about how much I really did love this place.

It was suggested to me by a few of my providers that I find a site where it is not too busy and where there were open minded individuals for me to post my adventures with providers. I have been on other sites, as two providers i the 1990's, pushed me to post on that site. However, people got crazy over my experience. It was an escort site the guys did not like How I treated providers. Some providers did not appreciate how I treated other ladies especially when i never picked them. I was run out of town.
You guys chill here and are open to my shenanigans. No hassle, kinder world. I have recommended to other guys like me and providers who like my stories that they come here to read my work. I ready do not want it to get too crazy as I would not want to be attacked for what I do or have done. I pay good money for the experiences I just like to record my adventures like in a diary. As one provider told me a dream is just a dream unless others participate. So sharing my past adventures brings them to live once more. The adventure that just keeps giving.
So Thank You SSP!
