When I first fell in love,
I had hoped one whom I loved,
Also felt the same.
That moment went by
With non-committal notions,
In what there is no beginning,
There also could be no end.
To this unrequited
Love.
She had only passion for power,
Her lust for abundant wealth
It exceeded any other desire,
For long I blamed myself for this,
But learnt as time went by
I was not really at fault,
She was the one who was
undeserving of my love
Because she never really could
Understand what love really is
Or any other feeling.
I suffered much pain It was
too great to bear,
However there is such thing as faith,
I soon I found the one whom
I could Love and be loved in return,
She came like a welcome breeze,
She moved me in unimaginable joy
I knew somehow, she was the I could love, forever
She gave meaning to my passion,
I was overwhelmed by hers
Every intimate thought
Was something to share
To wonder and care
Them all, spent her time, close to me,
Listening intently and loving me even more,
To whatever I was saying – her tears rolled down
not because she was sad – everything said moved her intensely
When I was silent,
She wait patiently for me to continue,
For her every breath I took had some meaning,
She would place her fingers on my lips
Lightly, as if she wanted to feel the words I spoke
Could never imagine someone everything I did or said
Would evoke some much love in her,
At times I felt I had said too much,
And bored her with her with my
Utterances, She kept head on my chest,
She would even hear my heart beat, to feel my chest move.
When I stopped speaking and looked at her,
She looked back and asked me to go on.
Together we felt as one, she repeated many things
I said and added some of her own,
Her voice was charming beyond compare,
Her words sounded like some beautiful song,
I would beg her to continue,
He body collapsed over mine,
Still asked me to say something more.
Kept her hands attached to my arms,
She loved me beyond any words could says,
Or could ever described,
Every move I made somehow was a
Concern for her –
She would cry for no reason
I would kiss her tears away,
Once I told her something about my past
It moved her so much,
She began to cry tearfully , about the pain I suffered,
Her sadness turned to joy of glory
When I told her about my measure of success.
A part of me wished I had never
Told her those things,
But she told me I have to rid
Myself of the demons of the past and
Embrace the fortunes I have had.
I would tell her they were no more,
But she knew me better than I knew myself.
She told me there is nothing
to worry about, her heart is strong
Every time I return home,
I feel proud that there is some one
Someone Who loves me more than
Anything in the world,
But one cold cruel morning,
She fell seriously ill,
After some months she
Recovered, Doctors said it was
A miracle,
Only she and I said knew it was the power
Of love
It brought us back together again
We have promised to one another,
No matter old and feeble we become,
Nothing ever will come
Between our love,
It is our love is which will
Keep us alive.
Sometime there is sense, To turn back the
Tide of time, start all over
To a moment of when I given up on love
and frivolous things,
The suddenly realising later that it truly exists
And not some illusion which people told me
I had hoped one whom I loved,
Also felt the same.
That moment went by
