Chapter 31: Company

Leia flinched as another light winked out on the display, the battle to destroy the death star had started only ten minutes ago and they had already lost half their fleet. The Empire knew they were coming, Leia had no idea how they could've predicted this attack but the loss of ships proved otherwise.


"Call for the retreat." Leia said hoarsely to the generals.
"Princess we will never have another opportunity like this again!"
"This isn't an opportunity it's a massacre, now call the retreat!" Leia demanded.


The General nodded and gave the command, Leia watched as all the blue dots on the screen did a complete turn around and headed towards the exit routes. Her eyes locked on to red squadron, the screen didn't designate which fighter was which but Leia was still hoping something would tell her which one was Luke. A large group of tie fighters were bearing down on them several of red squadron's lights disappeared but Leia was sure Luke was still alive, then the power shut off. The whole temple was dark.


"What happened?" A voice shouted.
"Someone blew the generator!"
"Back up power's not responding!" Voices shouted at each other trying to troubleshoot the problem though the feeling of an impending assault was growing quickly.
"Princess I think you should leave." Someone said tugging at her elbow.

"Major what in blue blaster bolts is going on!" The security chief barked into his radio cutting the silence.
"An elite team of storm troopers has entered the base sir, we're severely out gunned and underprepared!" The man shouted back through the static filled radio.
"Pull back to corridor eight, you need to hold it while I evacuate the senators and generals." He growled back.


A long silence grew as the impending feeling that the Major was no longer around to reply.
"Major respond!" He yelled into the radio.
"I think it's best we leave." A nearby senator advised.
"I agree, everybody move to the nearest hanger." The chief said waving people through the door.


The Chief drew his blaster and lead the group through the now silent hallway.
"Something's not right, there should be blaster fire or explosions." The Chief said in a worried tone. He keyed in the code to the hanger door and they opened with a whoosh.


The group hurried into the hanger eager to escape the danger behind them, the doors closed suddenly making a loud bang, they looked forward and saw rather than leave the danger behind they had stumbled right into it.
"So glad you could join us." A red man with hideous black tattoo's snarled through yellow teeth.


A dozen black armored stormtroopers had their weapons trained on them and right in the center was the tattooed man Leia now recognized as the man on the Star destroyer who had tried to force her into giving up their plans.
"Surprised to see me princess?" He grinned evilly.
"Darth Maul, you're looking as awful as always." Leia sneered.
"I would advise your security chief to lower his weapon, I would hate to make a mess."
"Do what he says we're clearly out matched." She nodded, the security chief slowly lowered his weapon as instructed.
"You rebels always surprise me, just when I think we've beaten you into submission you mount a rag tag assault and assume you can win."
"We will never sit by and allow you to dominate the universe, we will fight you until our very last breath and even then we will pass on our cause." She spat angrily.
"Yes I am aware, you suffer from that nonsense known as hope, but I have a solution for your silly notion. I plan on breaking every single person in your little rebellion and anyone affiliated with you."
"And just how do you expect to do that?"
"Very simply, we will gather up every rebel in the galaxy and force them into the service for the Empire. Some will become our sex slaves breeding a new generation of warriors the other will be forced into hard labor, our dream is to remake the galaxy in the Sith image. "Because freedom has a price, I know your bold attitude is the true heart of the rebellion. Without you the rebels would fall apart thus making it impossible to weed out the traitors and gain new slaves, so I am going to give you two choices, stay and allow the rebellion to break apart, or escape and deliver us thousands of slave as a byproduct." He smirked.
"I will never let you win you maniac the rebellion will grow stronger and the next time we meet will be when I spit on your dead corpse." She growled.
"So you choose freedom then, silly girl you will only feed our never ending machine. You wont get of that easy though, I'm going to give you taste of what the women of your rebellion are in for. To leave you will have to fuck me." He laughed bitterly.

Hey, I've been reading your story for a while now and finally decided to make an account specifically because of it. The amount of skill, and more importantly effort you put into you writing is impressive- and rare. So, now that I've thrown some compliments your way (they were sincere, I assure you), I do have a request concerning episode five. I have previously read at least two variations of an event in which Leia is taken by a wampa, one I believe by an artist/writer by the name of shabby blue, and an incomplete one on a choose-your-own-adventure site. 1) First of I am very humbled by your comment and appreciate the fact you would make an acount just because of me, I often wonder if what I write is at all any good or what people actually think! So thank you!

First, however, I'd like to request additional input from the other fans of this series- more ideas are always better, right? Let's make something epic here. Anyway, my suggestions for a personal ideal would probably include the whole icicle/stalagmite sextion (that was a typo, but I think I'll leave it ;)), perhaps even including a fingering segment as a prelude with Leia looking around for something bigger (I believe that was included in the cyoa, come to think of it), both because it's a great idea on it's own, and because the warmup makes the main event far more believable- and no doubt more pleasurable for our heroine. Speaking of warmups, I believe Shabby also made a tauntaun pic... sorry, I'll try to stay on topic. Obviously there will still be some discomfort (okay, a great deal of discomfort) at the beginning, and I'm all for 'physically impossible sex' (doesn't exist for Noobians, of course), but it should probably be kept short of blood, broken bones, etc. (not that I think you would write that, but I'm trying to cover as many bases as possible). I'm sure some people enjoy that stuff, but they're probably a minority. A small number of position changes seem appropriate as well. Some of the options in the cyoa, such as whether or not to provoke the wampa were intriguing, and I've been checking back irregularly to see if anyone has added to it. For the finale, I always wondered what would have happened if the rebel troops hadn't interrupted. So I guess, if any interruptions could be either removed or postponed, that would be great. Unless of course the interruption was in the form of another wampa... That may be going a bit too far, but hey, this is brainstorming- and besides, the whole situation is pretty ridiculous to begin with. The only other thing I can think of on the spot is something that I can't really make a suggestion on, because it will have to match what you've written up to that point, besides being your place to develop- Leia's reactions. Is she a repulsed or terrified victim? Is she secretly intrigued? Does she want it while being afraid of injury? Or is she thinking that somehow she has got to force this monster in? I'm sure there are other options as well, but based on your character development to date, I'd say that both extremes are unlikely at this point. Again, your call.

It's great to see an author who is willing to take fan input seriously. Thanks for reading, and once more I'd like to request more input and feedback from others, as mine was more or less pros and cons of other works.

*So it's been two years since I first started this thread... wow, not sure where the time went, thanks for all those who have enjoyed this series over the time I've enjoyed writting it. As for the future of this thread it's hard to say where it's going to go, the most likley scenerio is it'll run for another year then by dec 24 2013 (yes one year from today can you guess why?) I'll release the last chapter. It's hard to say for sure things can change but at that point I'll probably move on to an ATLA thread like I said its tough to say for sure no use worrying about the future, as for now please enjoy and happy anniversary :icon069:

Garm Bel Iblis, Jan Dodonna, Carlist Rieekan and later on Ackbar were great leaders and with the exception of Ackbar veterans of the Clone Wars.
Then there are Padmé and Anakin.
Padmé is a natural politician wand while Leia is highly talented and respectedshe does not (yet) have the influence her foster father had. He, Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Iblis FOUNDED the Rebellion when Bail Organa and Mon Mothma were already Senators in the Senate during the Clone Wars! Leia has no such experience, as she was not there, when the Empire collapsed (see ROTS).
Also, has Chewie got a girlfriend here in your story? I wonder what Mallabutock (his wife) will say to that.
Also, while Vader was feared, he was a brilliant stragetist.
Now with Organa dead, the schism could happen. They need the Skywalkers back (where did they go anyway? You never mentioned it) and Anakin back as a fighting, leading Jedi. I suppose Aayla and Shaak Ti aslso made it through ( clearly since there was no Vader, Shaak Ti was never hunted down an slain), which is where Obi Wan has gone to I hope. Anakin is back in action, since he killed those Stormies on Tatooine. Hopefully he'll return soon.

I must say I agree with pretty much everything you've said, I see a few questions/speculations that I'm going to try and answer without giving away to much. Yes, my problem is how many charcters I have and it has been rather hard to juggle especially having added my own and keeping many others but it wouldn't be a "what if" if these things didn't happen so my problem becomes do I focus on the main characters or spread to the charcaters that the less hardcore fans don't know or know very little about plus having to balance the new/kept characters like Shaak Ti she survived and will reappear with Obi Wan along with a few other Jedi. You're very right about Leia while she does have a lot of contacts due to her father she doesn't have much influence with them so there will be some excitment with her "earning" that influence with them (Padme will probably help her with this problem since she is still alive here) I'm not sure if it was mentioned but Bail is still dead at this point something I didn't feel needed to be changed and I hink with Leia's step father dead she had more reason to really step up and take charge to make her step father proud while I did consider keeping him alive just for fun I felt his death was an intrical part of the story with really driving Leia in future decisions. Yuuzhan Vong I'm no sure when or if they'll appear I'll have to go back and reread that series. Chewie at this point doesn't really have a girlfriend right now but he does have the occasional fling as you've read and it can be assumed that he has had more then I've written about, Mallabutock I'm sure would be dissapointed but is unaware though I'm sure she would be suspicious I would like to add Lumpawarrump somewhere but I havent found a place for him yet all these feelings will be dealt with eventually as I'm sure Chewie would feel guilty Chewie will probably find a more steady girlfriend at some point I just haven't worked it out yet. Luke has bee on dagobah which is the next chapter Anakin and Padme left Tatooine after Padme "persuaded" some help from a pilot to take them to Coruscant so she could find out what kind of shape the senate is in in hopes to find some help where they found a friend they to will reappear within the next few chapters. There is a big reunion planned and Chez is going to be very happy. As of right now I'm not sure if Han will be frozen or not or if Boba will tell Leia or not I left that fairly open ended on purpose. Now why does Sidious want the Skywalkers? perhaps the most important question of them all, and why does Maul keep letting Leia go if he needs her so bad? The next chapter explains exactly what the big deal is and it centres around the young Luke Skywalker. Iwould like to find some kind of revelation to hit Luke in the gut but I havent got one yet hopefully this explains a little more. Ask more if it doesn't clear it all up or if you want to know more or if I din't touch on something you had asked.

So strong in fact, that Luke was capable of standing up to Vader only half-trained and the only reason Vader didn't kill Sidious earlier was that (I speculate here but it has been hinted strongly) the loss of so much of his body diminished Vader's powers in the force, which is quite hard to believe if think about it.
Probably the same as in the movies, where they lured Luke to Cloud City by capturing Han.
They do the same here, capture Luke and then lure Anakin there, Anakin who has already once fallen to the dark side...

Luke came to the bottom of the staircase and stopped.


"Ah young Skywalker, I've been expecting you." The man's deep voice boomed through the building.

Sidious found me and had been practicing in Sith sorcery as I had been, he managed to revive me and brought me to his master Darth Plagueis. Plagueis explained their plan to take control of the galaxy with me, and offered me a place in his scheme, it made me sick hearing how they planned on remaking the Sith order, the Sith must always follow the rule of two no more no less. However I accepted already plotted against the two. I was patient I needed to find the right time to strike, in that time Sidious found he had more in common with me, we were both sorcerers and had a desire for ultimate power. Plagueis did not share our interest in dark rituals, he was to cautious and careful. Sidious came to me with a plot to kill his master, once his master was dead he would take his place as my apprentice, he had devised a way for me to consume Plagueis's entity and grow my power. In theory it would work but we needed a secret Sith artifact that was hidden here on Dagobah. We lead Plagues here and ambushed him as I casted my consume spell Sidious used the Sith artifact to divided my entity, I had left myself open as I consumed Plagueis, I had been careless. Sidious now has a glowing red amulet, that is my freedom, I am chained to this planet, my whole being runs through this planets veins, that is why you can feel the darkness across this planet's surface. Because my body is incomplete so it flows freely, if I were to leave this planet my physical body would turn to dust I need that amulet to restore myself. I once had a great following here, lost souls I had called, you can see the remnants of them here. I sent them to reclaim my amulet but they were defeated." The man finished explaining.
"What about the Cathar?" Luke asked taking everything in.
"She felt my power emanating from here and crashed on this planet much like you did. She begged to be my pet, at first I refused but she would not leave. Now she is just company that I am grateful for."
"What does this have to do with me?" Luke asked not fully understanding.
"You are meant to restore me." He answered calmly.
"What! Why would I do that!?! I'm a Jedi not a Sith!" Luke exclaimed.
"You are neither yet, but either way I am the only one that can defeat Sidious. We may be enemies but what he is doing is a mockery to the Sith and he must be stopped, the rule of two must be reenacted. And that is Sith business."
"No I'm not helping you!" Luke insisted.
"You are not powerful enough to stop him, it was your fathers destiny to stop him but he abandoned his journey. I am the only one powerful enough to stop him now, you will come to realize this in time. Sidious is already aware of your destiny, your family and friends are at risk until either you join him or you're dead, that is why he is so desperate to catch you." The man said confidently.
"You keep saying how powerful you are but look around, your trapped here in your ruins with your only way out resting in my hands." Luke scoffed waving at all the decaying things in the temple.
"You want to see power?" The man said, his voice growing angry. The Cathar opened one of her eyes and looked at Luke.
"I'll show you power!" The man yelled sending shivers through Luke's bones. The Cathar crawled around the stone throne obviously trying to hide.


The man gripped the thrones arm rests and the temple began to rumble and shake, Luke struggled to keep his balance and started to stumble about. Luke watched as the man stood up and stones began to fall from the roof, an invisible blast shot out from the man throwing Luke and lots of debris flying backwards. Luke tumbled back at least twenty feet before skidding to a stop. The man took his first step down and a crack shot out from his foot as it landed, the crack shot across the temple and straight outside. "I am Darth Revile! The last true Sith!" He declared standing up and raising his arms to the roof, a section of the roof was sucked straight up into the air into a black void filled with dark clouds and lightning bolts. Darth Revile lowered his arms and everything stopped the horrible winds stopped screaming the ground was silent and the void faded.


He walked back to his throne and sat back into his comfortable position.
"Once you gain power like mine then you will, be able to defeat Sidious, but we cannot wait that long, get the amulet, bring it to me, that is your destiny."

Revile might be in error then, for should Anakin regain his confidence, prowess and shake off the shadow, then he might destroy Sidious even without Revile's interference.
Looks like the events on Coruscant will be interesting concering that side of the plot.
Another thing is the survival of Jedi Masters such as Aayla Secura or Shaak Ti, not to mention Obi-Wan (maybe even Ahsoka and that'd be really interesting concerning Anakin, his trauma and possible resurrection as a leading jedi). Their coming out of exile might even draw out Yoda, but that is not the main point. The main point is Revile and the information he gave Luke concerning him, Sidious and Anakin's destiny not to mention the ways and teachings of him passed down to Luke by Lahani. All of this information could be intrumental in Sidious's downfall.
Btw, Lahani's comments about the increased stamina (sexual-wise), I bet Aayla knows those tricks already (being a Twi'lek she is naturally promiscious) or will be VERY interested to learn them, not to mention how much Leia will want to learn them.

"Tell me you're joking, you and your rag tag group that you call a rebellion are going to defeat the Empire? You couldn't even destroy the death star." She scoffed.
"Well you could stay here and keep working at this diner."
"Tough choice, either stay here or march to my death. I'll take my chances here" Aayla said sarcastically.
"To bad, we have a real all-star line up." Obi Wan sighed.
"Oh, and who's all going on your suicide mission?"
"Sorry that's on a need to no basis." Obi Wan said standing up
"Well it was nice to see you again Aayla... I mean Deja, enjoy your life." Obi Wan bowed, Aayla stood up letting Chez out of the booth and the two left the diner and headed towards the taxi station.

He did his best to push these thoughts from his mind, they would only distract him he, had to stay in the here and now. He dropped out of hyperspace and Bespin came into view. He dropped low into the clouds locking his targets onto cloud city, radar dishes came onto his sensors, he flicked his stick spinning him to the left just out of reach of the first scanner. He nosedived making the engines squeal passing safely out of range of the next radar. He stayed low swerving in and out of clouds he knew he had more than radar scanners to avoid he also had the city's military to worry about. The Storm IV twin pod cloud car was designed specifically for this planet and had much better manoeuvrability and speed in the clouds. Luke cranked his stick up and the ship arched straight up, the engines whined and rattled warning lights flashed telling him he was close to stalling his engines. He pushed the throttle harder knowing this was the only way to get onto the city, the engines sputtered but he could see the city he just needed a few more feet to reach the landing ramp. The engines gave a final burst then died, Luke ejected the hatch and unbuckled his straps as the ship flew upwards slowing more quickly than he had anticipated. He climbed out of the cockpit and edged his way to the nose of the ship the winds threatened to blow him off but he managed to prop himself up onto the nose in a crouch position. The ship stopped in mid air reaching its peak, Luke leapt using the force to propel him forward, his body slammed onto the landing ramp as he rolled forward, his x-wing tumbled down to planet below.

He closed his eyes and let the force guide him, his hand lifted and pushed one of the buttons. The lifted blasted up rattling as it went.


The door opened and he exited quickly, he jogged down the hallway not entirely sure what he was looking for. He could hear footsteps further down the hall and he grinded to a halt, stormtroopers were crossing the hall ahead, Luke panicked it would be a few moments before they noticed him. The door next to him slid open and a hand grabbed him pulling him in to the darkness, the door slid shut locking them in. The lights flicked on and Luke couldn't believe who he saw.

"What's port town?"

"Since the level we need to reach isn't a public one, not every lift can take us to it, we'll need another service lift. The nearest one is on the other side of this level. Consider this my official resignation, I'm afraid that my priorities have shifted and I can no longer dedicate a sufficient amount of time to this project. I apologize especially since we we're so close to the end, but with my views dwindling and less and less people willing to chime in I'm afraid this is where we come to a close, at least for now. Many of the people I had started with have long since gone, and I have seen and come in contact with some amazing people for that I am thankful. I didn't want to just disappear into the night or ride off into the sunset, I owe everyone that made this story what it is better than that. It seems fitting to close down this thread for now, after all, together we spanned two years and forty chapters a pretty impressive feat if I do say so myself.


Does this mean I won't be around anymore? In short no, I will still be around just not as often.

Will I write other stories? Probably, I've had four in the works for some time but haven't been able to give them the time they deserve.

Is this truly the end? I honestly I do not know, for the moment I need a break, I've spent the last two years constantly planning and making time for this that I've burnt myself out. I don't plan on doing this very often and as soon as I can avoid it I will but I put up and new story. I would much rather do a journal entry on my page or something but that's been down for a long time and I'm tired of holding onto this story.
