(MYFOX NATIONAL) - A New Zealand teenager tried to sell sexy pictures of his mother on an online auction site last week, according to the Melbourne Herald Sun .
After the mother and son reportedly had an argument, the 18-year-old boy opened an auction for "five naked photos of my Mum" on TradeMe.
TradeMe pulled the auction the next day, but the teen posted another auction the following day and called them "glamour photos" -- this time with his mom's permission.
The mother, 44, who did not want the family name published, told the paper she was "pretty annoyed" when she found out about the first set of photographs, but she was also upset that TradeMe withdrew the second set of pictures, of which she approved.
"There's nothing dodgy about them. They were taken by a family friend about eight years ago,'' she said.
The Web site pulled the photos, which were viewed 11,000 times, because they were deemed inappropriate. "We don't really want to be the place where people list photos of their mums in their underwear,'' TradeMe spokesman Jon Macdonald said.
With so many different auction sites available these days, many strange items are being put up for sale. AuctionHumor lists some of the most unusual items up for bid including psychic cat hair, a mutant potato and a nun bottle opener.
