"Sleepless Nights"
The sky was gray and cloudy.
This was one of the hardest nights to sleep.
The hours grew shorter,
As the night seemed to grow longer.
A man and woman grew restless,
As their big day crept closer.
Another man became careless
As he paced around the room.
These are the nights that seem the longest.
As the man paced and paced,
He prayed to God,
"Please show me your grace,
So that I can be a good husband and father."
The doctor came out
With a grave expression,
As he told the man,
That he was the father of healthy twins.
These are sleepless nights you see,
That have clear meaning to me.
They are the most important day's
In one's life.
But beware of sleepless nights.
