I see the clouds gathering,
Looks like rain,
I remember the saying,
Into each life a little must fall.
But as the darkness gathers,
There in the distance,
I can see a star shining down at me.
And I smile.
I know through all my rain,
There you'll stay,
So many miles away,
But still so close.
Guiding me and keeping me,
From losing hope,
That life will fail me,
Leave me all alone.
But now I know that through it all,
There is one,
That no matter what,
Will be there for me.
Though destiny has dealt,
A cruel hand,
I still believe,
I still have faith.
